How It Works

Step 1

Find an act that you want to book for your event, using the "Find An Act" directory. Select the date of your event using the pop-up calendar in order to check the act's availability. If the act is available, you can then make a booking enquiry/reservation via the site that is sent to the act (and/or their agent) via email and/or text message.

You receive instant confirmation on your screen that your booking enquiry/reservation has been sent.

Step 2

Your chosen act has 48 hours to respond to you either accepting or declining your enquiry/reservation. The act (or their agent) may contact you direct should they require additional information.

When the act (or their agent) confirms acceptance of your booking, you will be asked to read and sign a booking contract to finalise the deal.

This can be done either online, using the booktheact.com electronic contract system, or offline, depending on the preference of the act/their agent.

Step 3

If the optional online contract system is used, once you have read, added any extra details you may have, and signed the contract, you will be able to review the booking details on the site, and print these out. Following your signing, your chosen act will also review the draft contract and countersign to confirm full acceptance.

Now, with all contractual details agreed and your entertainment finalised, you can concentrate on the other important aspects of your big event!
