Indie/Punk/Rock Covers band including Live Rock Karaoke!

Sounds of the Suburbs are a fantastic covers band specalising in indie/rock and classic punk! They perform regularly at private parties (very in demand for 40th birthdays due to the style of music they perform), commercial events and small festivals.

They are a 5-piece band with a female
lead singer although they also have a male vocalist for some of their heavier material. Sounds of the Suburbs play songs from Blondie, Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Ruts and Stiff Little Fingers to new indie from The Killers, Kaiser Chiefs, Blur, Oasis and many more.

Sounds of the Suburbs also offer (if required) LIVE ROCK KARAOKE - great for parties, come on stage and sing with the band! There are only a few bands on the circuit at present doing this and Sounds of the Suburbs were one of the first ones.

We will play private parties/commercial events/rock gigs/anything with discussion.

Requirements - free drinks would be nice!

Standard Set

We are very flexible, we can play up to 2.5 hours set with a break, including around 1 hour or so of Live Karaoke if you want the karaoke, depending on popularity on the night. We are also quite happy to play as a regular band without the karaoke.

Act Provides

1000 watt PA Rig, mixing desk and microphones & mic stands plus all musical instruments. Small lighting rig.
